Ok, question is if a room is drilled for slicks does it affect a regular tires grip as far as dismounting from the rim while driving

No since you have 360 deg of sealing surface & the only way I could see there being a problem with the holes that are left is if the dia of the holes is so great that the bead might shift in daily driving & let air out but I am assuming when you drill holes for slicks that the holes are small so I dont THINK there will be a problem but I am speculating since I have never ran drilled rims so here's a BTT for ya
