I purchased a radiator from summit racing and installed it but the hose connection on the bottom is on the opposite side of the engine and needs a long hose.
Does anyone know where I can get one. Please help!!!!

Is the lower hose on the engine on the drivers side?

I'm pretty sure they're all in that location on all V-8's in 68, big or small block.

More detail on the car, engine, etc would help.

Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

it's a 440 big block. The water pump hose connection is on the passenger side of the engine and the radiator connection is on the drivers side. it is the lower hose.
I founs a site that sells flexable hoses. Would that work?

It's got the wrong water pump manifold on it for the year of the car.
That one that belongs on the car should look something like this.

The smart move would be to get the correct one.
They used that style for 10+ years and unless you're worried about correct part number it should be easy to find a stock cast iron one.
There are plenty of new aluminum ones available too.
Routing a lower hose across there will be a pain.

Here's a new on on ebay, in CA for $65 plus shipping ($13).

I'm sure that you can find a used cast iron one cheaper if you look.

I am sorry I forgot to tell you that the 440 engine was taken out of a 1978 motor home. would that make a difference?

I added a link in the last post for the correct style on ebay.
I can't answer that one absolutely, but I believe it will bolt on the on the same.
1973 was the year they switched which side the lower hose was on for all big blocks.
Normal car and truck engines it's a simple swap.
I haven't dealt with motor home engines before

Here's a thread about using a motor home 440.
https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Number=7689575

If it has the normal waterpump it should be an easy swap.

It's amazing all the stuff that comes up when you do the google search at the top of the page.
It finds all kinds of threads talking about what ever you're searching for.
