I've got a 1988 D100 that I'm sticking a 493 in it with Edelbrocks 84cc from Porter Racing. He wants me to use 2" headers , I called TTI and they couldn't help me. Will I have to have a set made or is there something out there that would work? Thanks.

Some guys have said they have used the A-body TTI's but I've never seen it in person

Yup. It was either the TTI A or B body ones. I can't remember.

There was a member here REDRAM, that had a 490ish" something Indy headed big block that used the TTI's, I just don't remember which ones. I haven't seen him on here in a while, but maybe search some old posts with his username? His truck was pretty badA$$ until it the rods exited it, then he just kinda dropped from sight on here.

Outcast Dodge guy.

My bad your talking bigblock.
I know B-Body fit bigblocks in the truck. I ran them in my 83 with a 400

IIRC redram run the B-body headers and had a couple small notches on the top edge of frame rails to cleare tubes.

2 very small cuts each side IIRC.

then member clutch built his outside the frame headers that were the huge tubes out side the frame then cross back under frame with x pipe and dumped in front of rear axle.

I can see a Low Deck block with B-Body headers fitting with a little trimming of the inner frame members, but if you put the same 2" tube header on a RB motor it fits just enough wider that the little trimming of the frame becomes a bigger deal. I bought a Hedman U-weld it kit from 340Shorty and will build my own once I get a little experience with the small tube pipes that I know will fit.

Thanks for the info and I love RedRams truck that thing is sweet. Looks like the Doug's B body headers are the way to go. I just got the heads and intake back from Porter Racing and they really look good.
