Hey all.., I believe I've found an original Spirit of 76 car but my broadcast sheet/fendertag decoder doesn't list a package order number for this. Can anyone tell me what all cars this package was available on, if more than Dart's. I have found that 800 Dart's were made with this. But more importantly, how do I verify the authenticity of this car when I get to see the fendertag? It has to be an "A" code I would think...

Any help greatly appreciated.

only on 76 Darts, White exterior with red/blue stripes. black and orange interiors. You cant misstake 1 when you see 1

Was that supposed to be an exclusive interior? Seems an awefully odd choice for a red/wht/blu car...

I would swear I saw a Dart Spirit of 76 about 25-yrs ago @ the Nat's with a red/wht plaid cloth interior. Same exterior as you describe and as I've seen elsewhere on the web.

I also saw a Volare with the orange and black Halloween interior @ about that same timeframe. I've never seen that availability for an F-body in a brouchure though. It could have been that someone had stretched the material over the F rear seat frame and simply swapped fronts, but I don't know.


I have A63 for the Dart "Hang 10" pkg 73-76

I notice many blank numbers in the "A" series option codes. Could there be an obscure, virtually unknown, code for this stripe treatment? It should be a fendertag code, not just something on a long lost broadcast sheet...


Does anyone know somebody with one of these cars?
