I would like to paint my Trans mount.

I have an original. What yellow pantone was used?
What do you recommend?

That looks a little like zink chromate. Used in the aviation business as a primer. It can be found in spray cans from places like Aircraft Spruce and speciality co. But it high cause it has zink and chrome in it.

Looks close, you know some of those trans mounts just had dabs of paint on them, not the whole thing.

I have always thought it was cool to paint my tranny mounts like the HD yellow ones. I used to get a can of yellow and a can of brown spray paint and spray one and the other while wet till I get the shade I liked.

Now, I just use the yellow.

The rear axle bumpers were larger and also yellow when the mount was yellow.

Master, again and still

Both of my 71 GTXs had the yellow mount and rear stops. They were just 440 cars, one auto and one 4 speed.

Think they were dipped in yellow paint on all 340+6,hemi,440 sixpak and some 440 4bbl cars.
