So I have a 69' Road Runner with a non air grabber hood (stock Road Runner hood), a 440 block with stock iron heads. What aftermarket aluminum intake will fit under the hood with clearance when a thermoquad carb is mated to the top of it? What works for your Thermoquad setup intake, to carb, to air filter? Thanks, Jay

The Holley street dominator intake has a spread bore flange & is a very low profile & has a good rep for low rpm performance even with it being a single plane intake. Not sure if it's still available new but it is still around if you search

Nothing wrong with the Holley SD on a 440. I doesnt look like much, but it works well. Yes, they are still availible.

Thanks for the help here. I'm not worried about an all stock factory look so maybe I will track one down. Thanks, Jay

On my wife's 72 charger with airgrabber hood we use a Holley Street Dominator and a Thermoquad.
It's a great setup, really awesome.
If you have a good Thermoquad setup for your engine it will be a killer.
I love Thermoquads, all my cars has them except my 66 300 and my sixpack Challenger.

I have just been cruising around town with it. Sometimes I can't help myself, I have some what of a lead foot and like to drive it like I stole it! I'm not looking for certain numbers on the track with 1/8 or 1/4 mile times at all. Thanks
