I bought a 383 yesterday for the stock pistons, for my 413 stroker build. What is the piston pin dia. on the 383 piston and 413 LY rods, as they don't look the same?

And what would be a good size cam for a blower motor lift/ duration?

Thanks, I would like to keep the motor cost udder 1200 as I am going to supercharger it for a street rod I am building.

stock 383 pistons are .070 bigger in diameter and shorter in compression hieght than stock 413 pistons are As far as the cam selection you should ask the blower shop your buying the blower parts from Which type supercharger are you going to use, Roots, centrifugal or srew type?

413 and 383 pistons use the same pins, exactly.

383 is 4.250, 413 is 4.1875. difference is 0.0625.

When I imagined this stroker, I certainly didn't imagine it with a blower sitting on top of it! To me it was simply a cheap way to max out an otherwise worthless 413 block.

I don't know that I would use stock pistons for a blower motor...
