Yes its possible. I run them on my car it has been a best of 10.36@128 @3575#. Remove almost 600 pounds to your target weight and it will go 9's.

The problem with them is the cost and need for expensive pieces. Have to run T&D's or Jesels. No one makes a header for them, I have adapted W2 headers on mine.

For the money, you're better off with Indy or something else.

and when you have him on the phone ask him why dont they revise it up a bit to make it a more attractive offering... I cant imagine it taking alot of effort, and they have had to lose money on all the more they are selling now. And get the price reasonable so they will sell more and make a few bucks too. Would make an easy w5 replacement head.

I don't think they are they that great of a head. There are better options.

I agree...
They have been talked about on here a bit over the years. Cant say as I have seen any 9 sec cars running them , which should be easy with a head that supposedly can go 350 ish.

Think I would rather have the 230 small indy head that is a proven to make power and is likely cheaper with more options( headers, intake, etc)

My motor went 9's in a lighter car, that's not theory, it happened. Its making more power than it did back then, but is in a heavier chassis now.

Are they the best head for the $, no. I was the first to say that, but, they aren't total boat anchors either. I've been shopping around for a better 59 degree head to replace mine, but I don't think it's economical to switch.

FWIW my car has been 129 and change at 3575+, you can make your own power assumptions.

I guess my point was that I have yet to see that head run as well as its " potential" airflow would see to indicate. for a head that is supposed to flow 350cfm( well more than an indy or w5 head) they don't see to carry that over at the track.
As an example, my old w5 motor has been 140 at 3200 pounds and those heads flowed nowhere even close to 330, much less 350. I agree there are way better options out there than this Brodix head, at least based on what have seen and heard. And that with a 2.15 valve, W5 has 2.08, indy 2.100.

Right, and if you compare flow numbers its fairly apparent why, the mid and low lift numbers just aren't there. Peak numbers are great for bragging, and that's about it. It's about area under the curve ladies and gents.

For reference, my heads flow:

Intake Flow@28"
0.100 80
0.200 150
0.300 205
0.400 255
0.450 275
0.500 281
0.550 290
0.600 300
0.650 310
0.700 315

Why not a w9 in a 59 degree? You can get those to flow 375+, same money as b1s. You need T&D or jesel and adpt a set of headers. Heck you can get bare new heads cheaper then the brodix.

I agree with you, he would probably say not enough demand, but I would say that's because they are pretty pricey. Chrysler heads aren't cheap no matter what you get. the original post mentioned he wanted to go 10.0s, well W2s with good port work should be no problem with a 416. my duster weighs 3120 with me in it and I was running low 10s with W2 long valve econos.
