I friend gave me a set of 73 big block b-body hp exhaust manifolds to use on my 383 71 challenger.

1) Are BB b-body manifold same as e-body?

2) Has some visual diferences between 71 hp exhaust and 73 hp exaust?

I don't care about date and casting numbers.

manifolds:

The only issue you will potentially have is the clocking of the flange on the passenger side manifold , it may be different than the 71 manifold , if the exhaust you run has a welded flange it will not match up.

The clocking issue is not a problem if you run TTI. Tell them the numbers on the manifold and they will dial it in with the correct clocking on the flanges.

Other vendors should be able to do the same.
