I'm getting ready to redo my exhaust and I am trying to find out if anyone has any sound clips i am currently running 2 1/2 inch exhaust out of hooker comp headers and flowmaster 40 series mufflers i am wondering what and h pipe will sound like btw the motor is not stock 10.1 compression 504 lift cam aluminum heads blueprinted and balanced. Thanks in advance you all are the best when it comes to mopars

Not to hijack, but to add....I have a similar set-up in my RoadRunner and it's not loud enough and the drone could go away. I'd like it to sound the way it did when the exhaust cane out before the axle and with rotted out turbo mufflers.

I have a similar setup for my '70 GTX, and originally had no h-pipe (just true dual) with stock manifolds, some parts store Flomaster-like mufflers, and it sounded nice. I then switched to the h-pipe, Super 44 Flomasters and better over the pipe tubes (the previous ones were only 2-1/4), and it is pretty loud (even w/ stock manifolds), and very throaty. I like it much better than the stock exhaust on my Charger R/T. The stock mufflers and 2-1/4 tailpipe (and mild cam) are just to quiet! -Russ
