Are the marks currently on your car? or are you looking to add them?
To be clear, your not talking about the magenta marks that are on the end of the tie rod thread, guessing a mark that was to validate torque and safety wire.
Are they are always magenta?
On my 71 Challenger the upper and lower ball joints have yellow daub marks.
Are daub check marks on the suspension linkage nuts consistant on every nut? Or was it common to miss some. Or common not to do any?

I always thought original tie rod ends have boots that snap onto the tie rod body and only 3 castles on the castle nut. I'm not sure those are original tie rods. Similiar style to whats on Dave Walden's 70 Valiant.

Sort of high jacking this thread, but the only tri-castle nuts on mine when disassembled were Pitman and Idler arm to centerlink.
Since I speak regularly with owner #2 who bought the car in 1974, and never replaced them prior to the fender bender, I believe these to be original tie rods as I don't believe anyone would have replaced them in the first 4 years of use . . . much less would have painted the inspection color back on them.
UPDATE - After you raised the question I now have less belief these are original tie rod ends, I'll have to do some more checking and if incorrect will begin the search for "correct NOS". Looks like I may have made an assumption that now appears incorrect.
