I am going to replace the fuel line and fuel hoses on a 71 challenger. It looks like everybody sells some sort of fuel lines from the tank to the engine bay. Is there any one brand that you would recommend for fit and finish over the others?

Thanx!

I generally prefer FINELINES in stainless for all the lines, fuel/brake/emission/etc

I see two prices for each, I assume the higher price is the stainless? Any problems with shipping if you order the one piece? Do they show up in decent shape?

Thanks again.

The fuel line and full length brake line will be bent in half so you have to straighten it out. They usually ship in boxes so the condition other than the bend are fine. Always buy at a show if at all possible you can get them unbent and transport them yourself.

Careful, your character's showing!

I have used Fine lines 3 times now, always fit good. They come fast and one piece is no problem shipping.

If your going to do it, get all 3 lines for a hemi/440 6 pak. You will be glad you did.

Ok, why the Hemi or 440 six pack lines? Are they larger?

Yea the suction line is 3/8" which is good. But the return line is the thing to have with today's gasoline and it could be used if you ever go fuel injection.

I use all 3 lines on both of my running cars and they have been driven a lot in extreme conditions. The third return line sure makes the fuel pumps job a lot easier.

My cars are old school with mechanical pumps and I still use the returns.
