Thanks for the update Bob, sure sounds like positive news.
The latest out of Barstow is that Doug may be released as early as Sunday. He now remembers just minutes before he went down. They are now just trying to get his meds in order soas this never happens again. Thanks to all for your concern. I believe soon Doug may be thanking you himself.
That's great to hear.

Glad to hear it was nit as severe as it could have bee..............even for a Mustang guy
He was "dead" for 4 minutes. The incredibly quick response of the EMT's made the difference. Another 2 minutes and he would have had severe brain damage. Another 2 more he would have died.

Wow - you just never know. It's great to hear Doug's improving and I hope there's a full recovery for him. Thanks for the updates Bob and others.
Well, art is art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water! And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... Now you tell me what you know.

My prayers for a full recovery.
Doug is out of the hospital and after getting his meds adjusted had a very good day today. He was having some blood pressure issues(very low) with the meds and dosage they had him on but they adjusted yesterday and he feels a lot better. He has been back to work on a limited basis since last Friday. What he suffered from was "sudden death ventricular fibrillation. It has a fatality rate of over 90%. He was a very lucky man to have competent help so close by. We are still contemplating SCSN. He will make the call next week.
