I just had a chance to thumb through the latest Mopar Muscle and spotted a car I recognized. John's 79 Chrysler 300.

Your car looks great in the magazine.

I met John and Mary years ago at Byron. Great people. We miss you up here.

Congrats to them!

Their Christmas parties were epic.

Thanks for the kind words John. We miss racing in the Midwest too - Byron in particular as it was my home track. Raced there many times when it was "Rockford Dragway". We have a little "momenta" hanging in our family room that has a time slip from Byron dated 9/17/64 when I raced my 63 Plymouth and below it is a time slip from Byron dated 8/14/04 when I raced my 79 300. Hey big "D",funny you should bring that up. Mare is in the process of putting together a local "Gearhead party" as I type. Not many drag racers up here in Payson so we had to rename it. BTW, you are invited - 11/16/13. We will miss you and the likes of Gary Bolger, etc.

Congrats on the ink!

It's always good to be recognized - as long as it isn't on the 10:00 news! LOL

Thanks for the invite John, but I can not make it.

Lots of fun listening to Gary's stories for sure.

Gotta love them 300's as long as you don't damage the grille... Nice write-up!

Thanks Jim - and yes, that can be expensive - as you well know.
