Last I talked to Josh at HHP he said the best coils to use is the stock coils...he tosses those MSD ones.

Thanks STEFF. I'be searched about 50 posts and came up with nothing specific. Your old engine I believe was a 6.1. So the 6013 controller and the harness for coil on plug :not the plug wires that cross over the intake, are good? Matt.
Yes, I use the 6.1 coils. If you go to the MSD site, you can download the instructions for the 6013 and it clearly shows the 2 harness options in it I think you can use it on the other coils as well with the right harness. You buy the harness seperately from the 6013..

The 3rd Gen coils we offer are only for extreme cylinder pressures. Steff has the 2nd Gen, good until around 12lbs of boost. Being able to adjust the dwell is a must to bee able to use our "Uber" coils. AJ at Arrington know all about them, as he is using them on his car.

Your welcome Be aware that my sensors were from a 6.1 crate motor and weren't compatible with the later MSD harness.... Earlier 6.1s may not have this issue. I can guarantee that sensor compatibility will be you only problem. Maybe I should get a green card and work for MSD !

So will a 5.7 sensor fit the 6.1 block? Or do I cut the harness and graph the 6.1 plug on it?
What ever you do DON'T leave your country. You guys have your sh$t together.

Yes, the later 5.7 cam and crank sensors are a direct plug and play into the 6.1 block. I posted the part #s on my blog which is that first link I put up. FWIW most of what I know I learned from guys on other forums ...... Ive found most parts suppliers like TTI and MSD have been useless - even Bob Mazzolini was more help!
67 RO23 clone with 6.1 SRT Hemi and dual quads. Soon to have Drag Pak induction and Throttle body.
