Still looking for a fan for my Belvedere. Most of the big cfm single electric fans that will fit my 22" rad are too thick by their listed specs. I have with bolt heads 3 1/4" of space to claim from the water pump pulley.

The black magic fans would be a perfect fit except for their thickness. Has anyone run them? Is their height on the shroud that could be trimmed off?

I also saw one of these http://shop.perma-cool.com/19117-Hig...-CFM-19117.htm and thought it might be decent to mount into my sheet metal shroud? Never seen anyone running one.

My other option is the custom shroud Wizard makes for this car with 4 9" spall fans at 543cfm each. Just seems like not enough? They use spall fans and there is an S curve spall fan of the same size at 630cfm each that I could probably get instead.

Just can't seem to find a fan that will let this thing sit and idle. Moving is no issue but I can't get the airflow

I had space issues too, ended up going with the Spal #2052. A little trimming and it fit great on my Champion 22" rad. One fan is controlled to come on at 85 degrees, the other is switched for when the temp creeps up in traffic. Works great but is pretty loud.

I recently installed a CCI 1740 on a 22" core, it's 2 5/8" thick at the motor and has its own shroud that's trimmable.

Awesome leads hadn't even heard of either of those outfits.

Going to look into the two of them.
