Anyone know how to date code a Hoosier slick? Here is the only identifying mark I can find on it.

Yes I checked both sides. I've searched high and low on the internet and can't find anything. Might give Hoosier a ring tomorrow.

I emailed Hoosier about this, here was the response. I'm still waiting to hear back on how old mine are. Quote:

Every tire has a serial code embossed into the sidewall. On your tire it is on only one side about 1-2 inches up from the bead. It is a 4 character code. (Example: 5T6S or Y32Z). They are a bit difficult to read so be sure to record the proper sequence. When you have located it, just email Steve Hudspeth (shudspeth@hoosiertire.com) here at Hoosier. He can look up when the tire was produced using this 4-character code. He is also a drag racing product manager who should be able to answer your technical questions.
