1969 Charger with repop trunk floor. It does have the cut out for the filler tube, but no hole for the vent tube. I do not have the old pan as it was done before I bought the car so I have to drill one.

From my research online, I can see that I have to drill a hole towards the driver side quarter panel. I just can't tell how big the hole is suppose to be or how far to drill it from the filler tube trunk hole.

Anyone out there know what size the hole should be and how far the center of hole should be from the filler tube hole?

On mine, I just ran the line down the length of the filler tube and squeezed it through the grommet. I think there's a clip on the filler tube for it anyway.

My vent tube is not long enough to run along side the filler tube and exit the filler tube hole. If I bend it down like in the picture above, then it will be long enough to clear the floor.

THe pic does a good job in showing the location, Just need to figure out the size of hole. Just gussing it is one inch? If Guess the thing to do is to order the rubber grommet to be sure.
