19cuda73 OP pro stock Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 1,300 Washington	Had some leaking freeze plugs on this motor. its a 71 383. I got the easy ones out already but I have to jack up the motor and remove the engine mount to get to the other ones. These plugs measure out at 1 41/64. Is this correct? MoparforLife Too Many Posts M Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 25,200 Upper Midwest	1 5/8 is the typical size. I like the deep cup rather than the shallow ones. If you have side plugs leaking the rear will not be far behind. Need to pull the engine or drop the transmission for these.

Its currently dry inside, I drained out the water about a month ago. May still use the water hose idea as well.
