I see Classic Industries has the best price at 170.00 each. Are these the same as PG Classic and B,E & A are selling for quite a bit more? If so what is the quality like? I have a good original set that I could get rechromed if that is the best option.

Can't comment on the quality but I would also go with the originals. Have them re chromed and know that they belong on the car. Fit and feel will always be better.

IMHO, I'd go with the ones from Mike Ross at BEAParts, depending on how "good" you think yours are, you won't know until they remove the chrome, any pits will just run up the labour bill,...and if your glass sucks then you'll need new glass, plus depending on who will disassemble them, that's more time and money...so for the aggravation and the few you MIGHT save, you'll be ahead with the BEAParts...I've got several sets of BEAParts E bodie mirrors, chrome and painted, fit and finish is just as nice as originals

The reason I ask about the Classic Industries mirrors is they have the "Authentic Mopar Restoration logo" listed with the mirrors on the website just like BE&A parts for $75.00 less per mirror. I will pay a reasonable amount for good customer service, but there is a cutoff point.....

My originals have very few pits. I almost considered polishing them up and using them, but I'm too picky! lol!!

I bought the '70 Challenger passenger sport mirror from PG Classic several years ago. My car didn't have one, and I wanted to add it. The first one I got had some chroming imperfections. I was able to return it, and they sent me a new one. The second one was perfect. I also bought the driver's side chrome mirror at the same time (my original was body color painted). I finally installed both earlier this year. They are very nice repops, and I'm fairly certain that anyone selling them, is getting them from the same manufacturer. See photos.

Generally when I recommend BEAParts, it's not for "customer service", although Mike Ross will go out of his way to accomodate a customer,it's for a better selection of parts in his stock, quality wise, plus if there is an issue, you don't get an issue later trying to resolve your issue... from what I've seen the PG Classic parts are the "seconds"....meaning blemished, inferior quality parts, even if coming from the same overseas vendor,...just like tires, you can buy a good looking set of white letteres, or you can buy Blems...

And regarding the "Authentic Mopar Restoration logo" that's just blood money paid to Chrysler to use their trademark...it infers nothing other, although some will lead you to believe it infers a "quality part"
