Hey guys,
At 168,000 miles, I'm ready to replace the shocks in the truck. It is lowered 2 inches in the front and 4 out back. The truck was lowered by the dealer where I bought it and the rear has shock extenders to allow the use of stock length shocks.
I have 22x10 SRT-10 wheels, 305-40-22 Nitto tires and a 3/4" rear sway bar. The stock shocks have delivered a decent ride but I'd like something a bit firmer. I used Doetch tech shocks on a lowered 2002 Ram 1500. Before that I tried some Bell Tech toxic shocks. Those felt too firm for me.
Any suggestions?

I used to go with hd shocks on my truck(SST) and never could figure out why it handled so bad. 3 years ago I put Monroe Sensa-Trac shocks on it and the road got a lot smoother.

The Edelbrock IAS shocks have been exceptionally durable and effective on a 1995 Ram 2wd.

Their anti-dive and roll mechanisms do seem to work.

They are noticeably firmer than factory shocks.
