that sounds really cool. i envy you guys.
the nearest track to me is 80 miles away, and while i know that is better than many have it, it still doesn't lend for an easy day out.
there is a track only 10 miles from me that has been closed for decades now, (Baylands in Fremont). a good friend of mine made the last pass down the track before it was closed.
the track and the land are just sitting there, after all these years. would be awesome if someone opened that back up, but absolutely nothing in the works.

Well I found out my source had erroneous info  I have no idea who the NEW owner is going to be but hope the first upgrade is the trace surface  because that is the number one thing that keeps the attendance down there. I agree with ChuckT with keeping IHRA sanctioning And that's not a bad idea Gus If not in the spring possibly sometime next season

Well I have been reading some of the buzz out there on the interweb about the resurrection of the old girl most of us just call "42" and it sounds exciting. We are goin to race stick cars there again this year after a few years away from Jack's greed and the bump. The new owner seems on the level Gus
