How do you do read the date codes on the space saver spare. I have two space savers
The first one has the numbers 11 stamped to the left of the valve stem and to the right of the valve stem are two stampings of 14 separated by a space 55
The second SpaceSaver has the number can stand to the left of the valve stem and the number eight separated by a space 55 to the right of the valve stem. This one also has a capital E and 10 stamped closer to the bolt holes. Both rims also have the K2 over 9 Stamping which I believe was the Kelsey Hayes rim not sure what the 9 meant. I'd like to find out if one of these would be correct for my 71 Cuda convertible that was built October 29, 1970

First Wheel:

11 -14 : November 14th
K2/9 : 1969

second Wheel:

? - 8 : ? 8th
K2/9 : 1969

Both are correct space savers for 1970 E-bodies.

Most Early 71 E-bodies I have seen have wheels dated from the late first to second Quarter 1970 (K2/0)

I just re-read my original post and see that my auto dictation was not spelled out correctly. The second rim was marked 10 to the left of the valve stem. But I get it October 8 1969
