I'm using one in my 71 valiant. I just bolted it up and ran it. Same as any other axles. Some people say to move the spring perches in because they are 1/2 inch to wide. I dident. Its been working fine. You just have to get a rim with alittle more offset.

An early B rear will work. You'll just have to push the springs a bit to get it to drop in place. Technically the perches need to be moved, but I have driven a few like that forever. Depends on what ya want to do with the car. I use stock steelies, ralleys or road wheels but they get close to the outer lip of the 1/4 and cant handle a wide tire. You can order the offset wheel you'll need though if ya want to tuck it in a bit.

66-67 b-body is the one to use.

I have one for my dart, but had it cut and narrowed to the a-body width. I didn't want to get into the world of strange wheel backspacing.

I have one in the Duster and it works fine with a 10 wide wheel with 5 inch backspacing. 10.5 M/T slicks.

Really not hard , just have the backspace changed or set on your new set of wheels.....

I did the same thing in my 71 Scamp years ago, bolted right in, no problem, we used rims from a AMC Eagle and they tucked in just fine.
