Incredible event...on behalf of Bud's Auto Sales and myself I'd like to thank so many that worked so hard at this weekends PID/Keystone Reunion. The PRP crew...I don't know how they do it, Greg Miller for all his help and co-operation, he went above and beyond. Of course all the NSS racers that showed up to support the eliminator. We had plenty of cars, and they put on a good show with some good racing. Thanks to the several Moparts members that showed up to support....we tried to get around and thank everyone personally, but with number of folks it didn't always work out. Big thanks to Allen George for all his help and advice. Congrats to Barry Donnely, and John "Jake" Jacobs for their wins on Sat and Sunday, respectively, and Jim Amos for his hard work on making a fine video production.
The event was incredibly successful....on Saturday morning they were backed up from the gate down Rt. 22 to Sheetz in New Alexandria for hours. Much more to come.

Just wanted to pass out thanks to a lot of well deserved folks.

Fun event, and what gorgeous weather. We were there running the UMTR both days, but that place was pretty packed.

Yah have to laugh though, they called old farts on Sunday to the lanes...the pits cleared out.

Did you hear a car count Steve? GREAT job as I heard the place was packed and the weather couldn't have been better. I would have come up for Sunday but we weren't on the schedule.

John, I don't know how many cars were on the ground...A LOT!!! I know that the traffic was backed up from the gates to Sheetz in New Alec for hours. When I got there Saturday morning it was a 45 minute wait to get to the gate, and I was there early. It was absolutely incredible. I think Greg and the staff was absolutely overwhelmed. The staff put in a long, hard weekend.

As far as NSS went, we had 27 cars make the first round call on Saturday. Some we expected did not get there for one reason or another...but it still worked out great. Some folks complained, but, that's the way it works.

A lot left on Saturday night....it would have been a long weekend, but there were still plenty on Sunday. I would think that everyone involved should be very, very satisfied.

It was a beautiful weekend, weather wise. I was running with the UMTR guys plus I got into the "OLD FARTS" race. I got to the stagging lanes for the first time trial early. In a couple minutes I looked back and two stagging lanes were backed and overflowing into the pits. Cool race, but I never made it past round one. Lots of old pros. Not including me of course.

If it makes you feel better the two cars in the final of the “old farts” class were the exact same two cars in the final of the electronics class. So you were racing against a couple of guys using a delay box. And you with a 4-speed is even more of disadvantage!

Aurora, Oh.
Steve it was great to finally meet you

This was an awesome event and to have added in the NSS class it seemed to kind of fit in all around. Also to draw 27 cars the first time is awesome. I had a blast and will attend again next year if the class is included again. Oh and next year I will do much better on that .400 tree

Russ, the class WILL be included again!! Thanks so much for coming over and supporting it...I think everyone had a good time.

Yeah, bone up on the .4 tree....Ronnie and I are more convinced ever that it evens the playing field for everyone. Jake Jacobs in the 63 convertible won on Sunday...the first win of any type for him since a class win at York in 1971. Jake broke down, emotionally in the winners circle...shaking like a leaf and hugging everyone he could get his arms around.

The intense, high tech bracket drivers who race twelve times a week have no advantage, and that's what we wanted. It was a lot of fun....

Jim Amos will be doing the video production of the event...I'll keep everyone posted.

Thanks, again, Russ!! It was great meeting you, looking forward to seeing you again soon. BTW....keep that 63 the way it is...it has charisma!!!
