69 dart 340/ 4sp/ 8 3/4 1" drop oval track leafs.

I have some 245/60/14 tires for the back
215/70/14 front

I know 245's will be tight, but they're the tires I have. What rim backspacing should I get - front and back? I'd rather not do the spring relocation. I'd like to try and fit them - relocate springs if necessary afterwards.

245's fit no problem on a Dart.

I have them on my 70 with factory rallye rims.

Are those on 15x7 rims or factory 14x5.5?

Also, What width rims would you recommend for those size tires?

Thanks

on one of my 68 darts I had 275/60-15 15x8 welds with 5.5 b/s. 5" would have been better, but centerlines are about the only ones, unless custom. I moved springs inward, offseting front and rear shackle and hangers...then perches to match...springs against the frame rail in front, cut hole in frame for bolt heads,or nuts.i trimed the wheel openings, and the "GT" mouldings studs, and nuts....looked killer! wish I had pics

255s on my dart. Everything in the factory location. 15x7 rim. If I turn a hair too fast it'll rub the lip on the quarter. Nothing a little trimming cant fix.

Rims have same back space as the cop steels. Cant remember if its 4.5 or 4.25

Thanks. I'll have to find some 14" rims. Too much hassle to change the front setup right now.

275's on a dart must look tough.
