It won't fit. You should just use a correct 71 B body tach. If you also need to know the time, just wear a watch. It sure beats trying to hack something together that was never meant to be. In teh past Charger Specialties had them available for 3rd gens... of course was an aftermarket stuff since they never did exist, but was made for a perfect fir oin to the cluster, like on 2nd gens. Does look not too much demand for them so not anymore available
