It's been a while, but last I got carpet from JCW, it was a good quality ACC rug. I used some modified bitumen rolled roofing as sound deadener, and some of the plastic foil bubble insulation from home depot for heat insulation. It was cheap, it dosen't absorb and hold moisture, and worked great.

Back in the late 80's I used JCW carpet in my 64 300, it was almost a hair too narrow to fit, but it was a stick car and they made no mention of stick vs auto when ordering. It fit, but I had to pay close attention to laying it down. It also seemed thinner that the OEM I pulled out, but they had various grades and I picked cheapest.
They say there are no such thing as a stupid question. They say there is always the exception that proves the rule. Don't be the exception.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1965-1973-Plymou...361&vxp=mtrI just put this carpeting in my 65 Fury. I have a 4 speed car, so was limited on manufacturers. I was really surprised how well it fit.The 4 spd hump was dead nuts on, plenty left over to trim on the corners. The carpet has a decent backing. I also used sound deadener foil/bubble stuff and it's exponentially quieter and cooler in the car, night and day difference.
