Im not sure which car or what year but my dad told me he was at a race and told Don Carlton to go move his Pro Stocker NOW, Donnie said Why Herb its fine where it is, well some guy had just driven a stock elim car that was the same body and parked it next to Don's car. My dad then said well Don why do you think they raised the windshield in that Stocker? Donnie immediatly got in his Pro Stocker with the windshield laid back and moved his car. These stories are Drag Racing History. Don was the little guy in Lenior that made it big.

Anybody got a picture of the two cars sitting side-by-side? That would be a great photo.

I used to race with a guy who had one of Larry Kopp's Malibu Comp cars. Supposedly Larry had sold it because of the exact same reason. Someone parked a stock Bu next to him and a tech guy happened to be standing there.
