..was great, friday stunk untill the late afternoon because of some persistant showers but that finally cleared up and we could hit the track, found that the cooler air the car wanted seriously more fuel at the hit as it stumbled on both runs then ran out of fuel due to a clogged filter, I thought it was due to the 40 micron filter that I added not allowing enough fuel to keep up with the demand but I took it off and put the origional line back on and went back out for the 10.0 qualifier, same thing, came back to the trailer and commenced to pumping the fuel ou to take the 100 micron filter off at the rear and it just trickeled out of the line , so pump or filter,,,filter's easier so we finally got the fuel out and took the filter off and it was clogged full with stuff, cleaned it and put it back on, problem solved,,or so I thought, didn't run out of fuel down track but still stumbled, so I changed from .050 squirter to a.055 helped the stumble a bunch but not completely so I drilled an old set out to .059 and threw one on the primary side, and that cured that problem, made a clean pass but the mph was a little low so I jetted it down a little bit more and the mph started to come around from a 129.xx to a 131.xx getting close to eliminations and had no clue where to dial so I threw a number on it, 10.08 an took my chances, luckily the guy went red so I got another time trial out of it, went 10.05 screwed up the next round with a total brain fart but was in the 10.0 shoot out there I went 3 rounds and run a 10.02 best with the mph in the 131.xx range untill it got cancelled after a dragster had a horrible crash and it was way late when they got the track cleared, next morning,,no time trial so I threw a 10.05 on it and went 10.057 to his 9.704 on a 9.70 dial, but I treed him with a .009 to his .015,,had a .0034 mov. one of the best and closest races I ever had, next pass, other car went red and I went 10.003 on a 10.05 dial, third round, I had a terrible light and he was .021 to my .127 and waxed me to end the weekend, , still a great weekend and starting to get this E-85 figured out

Anytime you win some rounds and don't break is a good day.

Hey Bill,
Just wanted to share our weekend with you too.

Girls did awesome, Melissa went rounds on Saturday, Couple gentlemen go mighty upset because she trailered them... She handled them well lol. Didn't even congrt her but put her down. Sore losers.. She won money the $150.00 Pro paid out Saturday made it down to 20 cars in Pro. She felt if they would have kept racing she was going to win it...

Chasity qualified 20th out of 61 NSS cars.. First round Saturday she took out Stage III John D. treed him. Second round she went red -.003 light so close to perfect. She went rounds in sportsman George double entered her... Got down to the 20 cars won money Saturday also $142.00.

Like the girls said last few races they came home with money. Guess our year ended well.

Sorry we didn't get around to visit but I stayed a little busy trying to get the car sorted out, made good progress, did chat to Ron and Chasity on Friday I believe, glad the girls are doing good, cant wait till next year.
