For 15 lbs. boost in a 470? http://www.cnc-motorsports.com/pistons-1...4-375-bore.html My calculations with a .051 X 4.400 gasket and a 9.980 deck yield 9.24:1 compresion ratio.I know the trend in recent years is toward a higher compression ratio, but I'm still going to use old school carb. & M.S.D.6 B.T.M. w/distributor. I guess I could cut it back to 10 or 12 pounds and it would still seem like a rocket ship compared to the old 383.The price seems tempting enough for the performance trade off compared to 8.75:1 or 9.0:1.Opinons?

A buddy had ordered a set of pistons and hadn't heard back from them. Was concerned that they might be a smoke and mirrors internet operation. After further research, we figured they are racers, and were probably racing instead of answering emails every minute of the day.Good to hear positive things about their reputation, Their price on these particular pistons whips the pants off of everyone else selling them.Still don't know if I should try to put the boost on that much compression with pump(93)premium though.
I bought a bunch of stuff off them a couple months ago with no issues , I even talked to someone on the phone.
