I'd have to say 1994 dodge shadow es seats were the most comfortable seats I ever sat in.And I drove it 200k

Ya that era was great. My folks had an 83 dodge charger that had great seats very close to shadow seats. Hmmm now that I think about it the charger seats were close to a body seats. I wonder how they would fit. Going to the yard tomorrow. Thanks for the idea.

Omni/Charger seats are a direct bolt on to E-body seat tracks. I have a set from my old Shelby in my challenger. World of improvement over the 71 seats.

These are they. I started to take the car on a road trip, turned to back out of the driveway and the original 71 seat back popped in two, turned out it had a growing stress fracture in the frame that let go finally.
So I pulled these out of storage and shot a can of SEM dye on each seat to get by. Three more payments on the Wrangler and I can start working on the car again, including having these reupholstered to match the yellow black interior I had going on.
As I said, they are a direct bolt-in on e-body seat sliders. The way the sides flare forward a little makes getting in and out a little harder. Could probably lean them back if I wanted to while getting in and out. Or I could loose 15 pounds... nah, probably just start leaning them back. But once you are in, they hold you in place really comfortably.
True it may be hard to find a set in this good of shape, but I would rather reupholster a bolt in set than try to jerry-rig some kind of adapters to put in something from another make, and not have a good idea how they are going to ride as far as height and leg room.

I like the way these seats/tracks function.
For entry to the rear seat, they tilt forward, and then the seat tracks release and the whole seat slides forward. Makes for easy entry into the back seat area.
Their also very comfortable and have good support.
Rather than make brackets to fit them, I modified the floor to fit the seats. I know, nothing like doing it the hard way. But this way I didn't have to raise the seats any higher by putting a bracket between the floor and the seat tracks.
They seem to be the same seats that are in my 2011 Scion tC; however, mine seem to be a little bigger and more plush especially on the sides. I'm actually not that big of a fan of them. I tend to get rather uncomfortable in them after about 15-30 minutes. But that could all be based off of body size too (I'm 5'7", 230 lbs so I'm a little on the wide side). I sat in some SRT8 seats at the LA Auto Show and good God I was in heaven.

 From a 2000 toyota celica. Welded the chally tracks to the seat frame. Holes for lap belts as you can see Like 100 bucks each many years ago. Adjustable seat bottom angle as well Curt
Oh yeah...THAT'S gonna leave a mark!
