Is there another date on it?

1689 = Tuesday 6/17/69

Saginaw power steering coolers would be used on A12 cars and any '70-'71 383/440 B & E-bodies with an axle package (possibly other combinations, also ).

Power steering cooler was use on a "max cooling package" when the car had 3.54/3.55 or lower rear end gears. My 69 GTX with "max cooling" and 3.55 gears has the cooler you show. My 2nd 69 GTX with 22 inch radiator and 3.23 gears does not.

An "axle package" was orderable ..... "Max cooling" was not.

Where was your GTX built & what's its SPD?
