Number on the springs is 2835056 which jives with the Broadcast Sheet.
Problem is, the main leaf only has a 1-1/2" front spring eye. Is this
correct or not?
Also, I'm looking for the guy who was selling the spacers that fit between the Manifold outlet and the end of the headpipe. I was told he
goes by, "Big Block Dave". I PM'd him but got no response, so does
anyone know who sells these?

Those are the springs I have on my 68 M-Code Dart GSS and my 68 383 Dart GTS. Dave Goodwin has the spacers, look for the M-Code Cuda post below in the Restoration forum!

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

It's a 1969. I wondered whether someone had changed the main leaves
or something because I have some Swinger 340 springs and they have the bigger 2" eyes. I can't tell anything from the parts book, I guess
because they're listed as an assembly with the bushing installed, and apparently that changes the part number. Thank you for your help!

I got mine from Accurate LTD, it's functional but really just 2 flanges mated together.

I have 3 69 Swingers laying around and they all have the smaller eyes as far as I remember, I will have to check to make sure. The repop that Dave makes is spot-on.

I was unaware that the 440 A bodies used spacers for the exhaust. Years ago, to many years ago, I had a 69 383 GTS. The original 383 engine did not last long and I put a 440 in it. The stock exhaust fit just fine with no clearance issues. I did not have issues with the power steering also. This spacer is news to me. I guess I can still learn something at my age.

The spacer is only needed on the passenger manifold when using the 440 only driver's side manifold.
