My neighbor is sawpping a 96 318 into his 1992 Dakota. The 92 had a fuel injected 318 as well. He has to sawp the fuel rais onto the 96 engine from the 92 because of the external fuel filter and pump. Will the 96 injectors work on the 92 fuel rails? Thanks, Jason

They should interchange, but you'd probably have to lay the injectors side by side to make sure the sealing surfaces are in the same locations. I'd also check the EGR systems and intake manifolds to be sure all the connections are the same. Seems like some other things changed around the time they went to a returnless system.
