I am looking at my options. if I have to convert back to carb for a 2000 5.9, is there an intake that lets me keep the accessories including the a/c? The pictures I see show it missing the holes to bolt it all up.

Which accessories are you keeping - Maggie/serp or LA/V-belts? I've got an M1 EFI intake that is set up for a 4V throttle body, and it should be pretty easy to get the little braces set up on a "regular" intake. I don't think I have any of them on my current setup, but I need to get them sorted out before too long. Not that it's a problem sitting under my carport for 6 months at a time...

If your using the magnum accesories, just about any magnum intake sould work with a little fiddling. I am working on using a Offy dual quad intake on a magnum motor with all the accy's including a/c. I am using a van bracket which has a shorter compressor, but this is needed to clear the first carb.

I believe the only true plug and play manifold in the carb setup is the dual plane M1. The braces off the top of the magnum bracket are not needed, there is plenty of meat in that a/c / alt bracket to keep it steady. I have had zero trouble with mine thus far.

Outcast Dodge guy.

I guess I forgot, it all bolts up to the bracket bolted infront isn't it.

I am looking at keeping it all magnum motor if I can.

Since painless cancled the project, I have to get my car running on my own.

Apparrently I will have to buy all the parts if I want to get it to run as an efi motor.
So I am debating trying to get it run back as a carb.

I guess I just see a lot of extra holes in the efi intake that are not their on the carb intake and was afraid I would be missing out on the accessories.
But if that is not the case, I guess I will start adding up the parts I need and see which is cheaper.

I'd suggest contacting board member Jerry and have him build up a megasquirt computer and harness for ya...

Thanks. Already been in touch with him.
But it seems cheaper to work with what I have, or go carbed.

Haven't decided yet though. Just want to keep my options open.
