Is there such a thing as low profile engine mounts?
That would screw up your driveling angle, but never heard of such a thing.
You will need to somehow make a drop base out of your shaker baseplate.

I dropped the K 1/2" in my Cuda for the same reason. I then had to cut 1/2" out of the tranny mount. It all took a little while but was not that big a deal.
There might be 3 ways to approach this; machine the carb flange on the intake down, fab in a drop base air cleaner, or drop the K. Whick one do you feel is easier for you?
Master, again and still

I have 1 5/8" from the bottom of the throat to the bottom of the bridge for the carb stud. This should be good.
I also see that my radiator, fan and fan shroud do not match up by about 1/2" so the engine seems to be sitting a bit high.
My first attempt will be to see if I can put spacers between the K-frame and the frame to see if this makes a difference.
Other than raising the profile by 1/2" is there any reason why this should not be done.
Thanks.
I am curious ,you think the spacers between the frame and the K member would effect the suspension and over balance of the car?

Something is wrong, Mounts, brackets K frame, dunno sounds like you want the easy way out rather than the correct way, Bubba says yeehaa, we do it all the time at the local circle jerk track. Sorry Fix the root cause rather than afro engineering it. Sorry again another long day week of dealing with Bubbafied fixes that don't work
