Any opinions or experiences with the Tremec 3550 as found in the Cobra’s? OK behind a “warm” big block? I’m talking a used Craigslist type unit. NOT the TKO’s. Yes, I know those are better.

It should be more than enough for a warmed over RB.
Just be sure they don't slide you a T5 instead.

The 3550 is a pretty solid transmission. It's not a TKO but short of all out abuse it should hold up just fine.
