Well as J knows the truck has assumed it's usual location for now. I need a driveshaft and this is certainly project low buck. SO until I can locate a slip yoke or complete driveshaft it will again be sitting for awhile again. Hopefully I can locate a yoke or complete shaft soon.

Not positive, but a c body shaft would have the 727 yoke, and a mid 70s one, or all I've ever had , had the small u joint. Would be long enough, just shorten it. Love the sweptlines!

Yep small joint 8 3/4. If I could locate a yoke I think I can just have the old 4 speed shaft shortened and use it?

Slip yoke..The original driveshaft for the 4 speed uses a different slip yoke and is longer than what is needed for an auto. If i had a slip yoke could get the stocker shaft shortened.
