Does anyone reproduce the Black electronic ECU? Also did all cars with electronic ignition utilize the ECU mounting bracket?

I haven't seen a 100% original looking one. You can get them online but it will be missing the extra "gold colored" plate on the front.

You might be able to find one in a junk yard and clean it...repaint it. The metal looking stickers are available new.

I believe EVERYTHING you say, you are my idol and mentor, which is why I'm such an anal person today

Unfortunately the Junkyard idea is all but done around here, NOTHING like the old days when I could walk a pick a part and come out with pretty much all the parts that I went there for.

I will Probably just buy one new from some parts place, paint it up and get the decal and call it done..

I was just digging through a box in the trunk of my volare and just happen to have two of them.
Used, no idea if they work, only one has the metal sticker. Free to the OP if you want them?

Thank you for the offer A12superbee Very generous,The price is certainly right . I think I'm going to go this route, After searching I found something here, http://www.billrolikenterprises.com/sear...price=&pg=2

It's costly... BUT if its even remotely correct it would be waaaaay better then the orange box that I currently have in there.

Guys have the Orange Mopar Performance ECUs always been junk? The reason I ask is I have one in my Charger that I bought at a swap meet back in 1999. Never gave ma any trouble. Actually I bought two from the same guy so I do have a spare.

From what I understand, the newer ones are the trouble one(last 10yrs or less?). I had an orange box I bought back around '91 or so and put well over 300K daily driver miles on it before it started giving me problems.

I still have it as 'back up' because, while I wouldn't trust it for distance, it will still start and run an engine just fine.
