If so, do you have any pics that you could post?

I polished the stock tailpipe on my 04 Ram. Looks far better than a lot of the cheap, plated add on types you see rusting away on otherwise nice looking trucks. It gets a touch up polish every spring, winter takes a toll on the shine. I don't have any pics, but it's not too hard to envision it if you use a little imagination.

Is your intended use show or driver? SS needs to form a coating to protect itself, exhaust heat in free air should discolor the SS under normal conditions, polishing it will just start the process all over again. However on parts that are cooler by better air flow/cooler temps, shine might be easier to maintain.

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

Drive but not often. That is why I was looking for pics to see what it looks like after some use. Thinking on putting it from the headers back with turn downs at the axle.
