I recently dropped off two 15x8 and two 15x6 ( so I thought) steelies that I had for a few years at a buddy's shop to be painted for my car. I never noticed when I bought them at a swap meet and he never noticed when he was working on them but......today when I picked them up all clean and shiny I noticed a few things. This wheel is actually marked Kelsey 15x5.5 ( so it isn't 15x6! DOH!) and the stud holes are not recessed but a raised cone shape. It also has 4 nubs on it for the hubcap where the other three have 3. Anyone know what this wheel was used on? A little bummed now that all the work went into them. Don't really think anyone will notice once the tires are mounted. Shouldn't affect ride etc being 1/2" wider? I am going to replace it with a correct one over the winter but was just curious what it may have been used for originally.
