Hoosier makes the shortest ,smallest stiff wall slick from what I have found, 32 x 13.5w with 17.7 section, 14.1 wide and 102 roll out. These tires are rated stiff, versus semi stiff for the 33.6 x 15.1 Goodyears I am running now. I plan on trying them and have the gear for the smaller diameter. I haven't tested personally, but would think that a tube would help support these for better traction and longer sidewall life.

My heap is 2940ish with me in it. Being as I am a super class racer we get pretty anal about R/T and 60' numbers. When they start to waiver even a little the tires are replaced. Having said hat I run an M/T 30791 a 33x15 tire. I usually replace them at about 60 runs before any tire related variance occurs. They in turn usualy go onto a friends bracket car and last for another couple years without issue.
