After 6 long months my car is back home. Now the fun begins. FYI is a strange color I am still getting use to the way it changes with the lighting.

Protip: get at least a couple rolls of the good AUTOMOTIVE painter's tape to protect paint near where you are working!

Also buy a couple super soft blankets to lay out parts on the bench and to cover nearby areas on the car.

Have a bunch of microfiber towels to wipe stuff down before bolting down.

Clean ground connections!

6 months is by no means long. Let me tell you about long. I talked my guys about getting my car wrapped up by the end of the month. We'll see?????

No doubt... I had to wait 6 years to get my former 68 Hemi Charger R/T back. Got so disgusted at the situation I used it as trading material for my Daytona...

But, on the subject at hand............ MAN !!! You are going to have TONS of fun putting the parts back on the 'Bird... Yellow is a great color....... Have fun....

Thanks Guys, It’s a U code 4 speed car . The shop deal worked out pretty good, unusual these days. They had it on a rotisserie gave me the Dana and front suspension back so I could redo them. Then even helped me re-install it at the body shop on a lift before it came home. I really have to find a safe place for the nose cone until I’m ready for it. I had a shop go out of business one time while I had a car in the shop !! so this was a welcome change.

Thanks for all the kind words. It is a strange color , it changes so much depending on light. I can see why they don't like to use it on film!
