Could a 69 Coronet 440 come with a cloth & vinyl bench seats? I assume that is has the same door panels as a Super Bee.

Yes and no...

The Cloth and Vinyl interior was available on the WH41 (Coronet 440) four door sedan (H1*). Cloth and Vinyl was N/A in two door HT's like the Coronet 440, Super Bee, Coronet 500 and R/Ts.

The Super Bee interior was either H2* (bench vinyl) or M6* (bucket vinyl). The door panels were different between the two interiors.

So yes, Coronet 440 four doors could come with cloth and vinyl seats but no, the door panels are not the same as a Super Bee.

If you want door panels for a SB with an H2 interior, look for them in Coronet 440 two door coupes and hardtops.

If you want door panels for a SB with M6 interior, they are the same as Coronet 500 and R/T two door HTs and convertibles.

Thanks. Today I picked up a 69 Coronet 440 2 dr hardtop and it has cloth/vinyl bench seat in it. I would assume they were swapped in from another vehicle based on your answer. It needs new door panels, so I will get panels for a bee. It's just a tool around driver so I don't need it to be 100% correct.

Thanks!

Is the tag still there and if yes, what is the interior code? Are both the front and back seats c/v or just the front?

No tag. Front and back are c/v. It also has '68 door panels.

4 door seats are different than 2 door seats so , fronts don't fold forward and the rear bottoms have rounded corners, because they are exposed when the rear door is open, for easy in and out .

Since you say it has 68 door panels they could be from anything. Got a picture ?

I stand corrected - after a little more research, it looks like it has '70 Charger door panels. In any case, they need to be replaced.

That doesn't look like anything I have ever seen from Chrysler.

Those inserts were redone at some point, looks like a velour, not factory, which explains why there is cloth on 2 dr seats. In other words they are incorrect but look to be in nice condition.

I am not too worried about "correct" on a 440, so I will not recover the seats. But the door panels have got to go! They look pretty bad.

Try to avoid PUI panels, they are too puffy and not all the mount pin holes etc are punched on the backer. Legendary way better. Also the bucket seat panels require additional chrome/woodgrain mouldings

The Legendary panels are nice. Used them several times.
