I remember reading a post a while back about someone with a question about the steering box angle, E body vrs B body. I have attached a pic of my steering box mounted up with a set of what appear to be alignment shims on the top two bolts. I believe these to be original to the car and wonder if anyone else has found these on E bodies they have disassembled. Thought they may explain the question of different steering box angles E body vrs B body. jess in ky

My 70 Charger had 12 point headed bolts. Yesterday I pulled a steering chuck from a 68 Plymouth wagon. It also had 12 point headed bolts. Maybe they used them because of limited clearance?
