figure I will get my thread started. I sold the property I kept my Challenger RT and had it moved to my farm today.

I have a buddy who does fast body work on muscle cars, make me a spot. In the coming weeks I will be tearing it down and have a bunch of sheet metal replaced.

I bought it in 1980/ sold it to a friend/ and was able to get it back while in the middle of fixing my TA.

It's a 383 4 speed nos matching bought new right here in town. I am the 3rd and 5th owner.

I really appreciate it now, becuase I never see a 383 manual trans car at big Mopar events. The 4 speed cars are hemis and 440's. They only made 2500 of these and I suspect the majority of them were torn up.

I will post pics of the tear down and resto, as I move along. for the past ten years I have been accumulating parts, so now its time to put them on!

I owned two of them. I sold one to a guy who said he was going to restore it,and two weeks all the parts from it were at a swap meet I went to. It was a B5 blue car with white interior and power disc brakes. It was a solid car,and the guy parted it out for quick cash. The other one was burnt orange with burnt orange interior and 3.91 gears. I sold it to a friend who sold it to another friend. He put it on E bay and it went to Austrailia.

Its originally FK5 with black vinyl top and interior. When my friend had it in the mid 80's he fixed the body issues and made into a vanishing point car- many years before the idea became popular. We just liked the movie.

The original owner was the brother of a friend- though I never met him. I stopped by the house one day and he was there. "I bought one new like that but it was brown". I said no, that is your car, and pulled out some paperwork with his name on it. He got a kick out of it.

One diversion away from original is, I will be changing the black interior to burnt orange. Have most of that collected and ready to go to.
