On my 71 road runner, the signals work fine when engaged, however after a period of time the right signal gradually starts glowing...not full brightness, but close. All right side signals glow including the dash. I can use the signal without issue but the glowing lamp comes back quicker, it seems, as the car gets warmer??
Any thoughts?

First I'd replace the flasher can, the one for the turn signals not the one for the hazard flashers. Get an electronic one & the replacement ones sold these days may be mostly electronic but check on that.

I had simular problem in my 71 challenger when I had the wiring for the side marker and front parking light switched up. Had the side marker plugged into the front parking light plug.
