what metering blocks are you using?

I run 93 square in mine, but that doesn't mean 93s will work in your set up. Displacement, cam grind, heads, carb and many other factors influance jet size.

A few years back when I tried E 85, I used the 30% formula. You'll normally use 30% more fuel with E 85 to make it work. I increased all fuel metering by 30%. I decreased all air metering by 30%. This worked for me as my ET and MPH were very close with E85 as with 93 pump gas. I tried E85 mainly for the lower price and to prove to myself that I could make it work. Once the price started to go up, I went back to 93 pump gas.


4 speed street legal. Best time 10.99 @ 124 mph on 93 octane pump gas @ 3926# total weight

86 - 88 PMJ
76 PVCR

96 - 98 SMJ

Also is is with .172 downlegs boosters.
