You want to tell the transmission your foot is more-to-the-floor. That will increase shift points, and increase frequency of downshifting to 2nd.

Then if someone can look it up for you, you adjust the rod ends per what they say.But the bel crank needs to be where it needs to be.Thats the way they designed the system to work.
